Privacy Policy

This is a small church website, and we try to keep things simple: we only collect information you choose to give us, we use it to serve our community, and we never sell it or share it for advertising. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect and why.
Information you give us
When you use our Contact, Prayer Request, or Volunteer forms, we collect what you type into them — typically your name, email address, and message, plus a phone number or date if you're offering to volunteer (prayer requests can be submitted without a name at all). We use this only to read and respond to you, and to keep a private record so the right person on our team can follow up.
Basic site usage
Like most websites, we keep basic, anonymous statistics on visits — which pages are viewed, what kind of device was used (phone, tablet, desktop), and, if you arrived from another website, that site's domain. This is tied to a random ID stored in a cookie on your device, not to your name or any account. We use it only to understand overall traffic, never to build a profile of individual visitors.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs, to help keep out spam and automated abuse. It may briefly process some technical information about your browser, governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Cookies
- One small, anonymous cookie for basic visit counting, kept for up to about 13 months.
- Your light/dark mode preference, saved only in your own browser — it never reaches our server.
We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't run ads or third-party ad trackers on this site.
- We don't share what you send us outside our church except as needed to respond to you.
How long we keep things
Messages you send us are kept only as long as reasonably needed. Anonymous visit statistics are deleted automatically after about a year. If you'd like something you submitted removed sooner, or have any question about your information, just reach out to us and we'll take care of it.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience, and we don't knowingly collect information from children through it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this page occasionally as the site changes. This is a general, plain-language summary of our practices, not a substitute for formal legal advice.
